Bottleworks Developer Bullish on Indy

The chief executive officer of Wisconsin-based Hendricks Commercial Properties tells Inside Indiana Business construction on the $300 million Bottleworks District in downtown Indiana is moving forward on schedule. Rob Gerbitz, who last week announced new tenants for the project, says the 30,000-square-foot food hall should open next April, while a boutique hotel, movie theater and office space for Indy-based High Alpha are targeted for September openings.

Fair Oaks Farms Responds to Animal Abuse Video

The founder of Fair Oaks Farms in northwest Indiana is responding to an undercover video showing animal abuse at the agritourism destination. In a statement on Facebook, Mike McCloskey says the Fair Oaks employees involved have been terminated, and the attraction has undergone retraining on animal care.
